Physiotherapy marketing for UK practices
More patients for your physiotherapy clinic, predictably
We help UK physiotherapists grow their private practice through specialist SEO, targeted Google Ads and high-converting websites, built around how physio patients search, compare and book.

Why Clinic Evo
A sports rehab clinic and a neuro rehab clinic are not the same advert
Physiotherapy covers a huge range of specialisms, from sports rehabilitation to neurological rehab, women's health to paediatric physio. A generic agency runs the same campaign for all of them and wonders why the enquiries are the wrong ones.
We start from what you actually treat and who is searching for it near you, then build the pages and campaigns around that rather than around the word “physio”.
We can do that because we come from the same trade. Danny Morgan is a practising osteopath who founded and still runs Bodyfunction Clinic, and every method here was tested there before it was offered to anyone else.

Sports rehabilitation
Reaching athletes and gym-goers who want specialist care this week, not a six-week wait.
Post-operative rehab
Reaching patients after surgery who are paying privately for quality follow-up.
Chronic pain and MSK
Content that builds trust with people who have already tried two or three other things.
Private over NHS
Local search built to put your clinic above NHS and directory listings for treatment terms.
What we can evidence
Measured in a working MSK clinic.
Every figure here comes from Google Search Console or Ahrefs and can be checked in either tool. Both tools measure search, not appointments, so none of these three is a booking figure.
Growth system
Physio clinics sell several services to several audiences
Physiotherapy marketing works best when every part of your digital presence supports the next. Your SEO brings in relevant search traffic, your website turns that traffic into enquiries, your ads bring demand forward and your follow-up brings discharged patients back.
They are weighing you against the NHS waiting list
Private physio is a considered purchase. We target local physio searches, specialism-led queries and condition terms so your clinic is the first private option they see.
They want to know you treat their exact problem
A runner with a knee and a patient six weeks post-op are not looking for the same page. We improve how your site explains specialisms, practitioners, approach, reviews, location and booking.
They enquire in the evening, and expect an answer
Targeted PPC for sports injury, post-surgical rehab and specialist conditions, connected to clear landing pages, proper conversion tracking and follow-up that runs out of hours.
They finish a course of treatment and vanish
Discharge is not the end of the relationship. Patient reactivation re-engages people who need follow-up care, ongoing rehab or support with a recurring issue.
Services
Marketing services for physiotherapists
Six areas, and few clinics need all of them at once. The audit says which two or three are worth starting with.
Where Patient Pulse sits
Every enquiry your marketing creates ends up here
Websites, SEO and ads all do the same job: they get someone to make contact. What happens in the twenty minutes after that decides whether they become your patient or someone else's.

Our own clinic CRM, patient messaging and follow-up system, built for UK osteopaths, physiotherapists and chiropractors.

Patient Pulse
One inbox, one patient database, one board. The layer that turns four separate marketing channels into one predictable flow of booked appointments.
- Captures the enquiry, whichever channel it came from
- Replies automatically within minutes, day or night
- Keeps it on a board until it is booked or closed
A booked patient
Straight into the Cliniko diary from the conversation, without a game of phone tag.
A patient who comes back
Review requested, nurture running, recall at 3, 6 and 12 months. All automatic.
Specialist focus
What a general agency gets wrong about physiotherapy
A generic agency may understand websites, traffic or paid ads. That does not mean they understand how private physio patients choose, or the barriers they feel before booking.
Physio patients often weigh private care against the NHS, compare specialisms, and want to know whether a clinic treats their specific condition. Sports rehab, post-surgical care and chronic pain each need different messaging.
That is why the condition pages carry the work here. A runner with an Achilles problem and somebody six weeks post-knee-replacement should each find their own situation described, not a general physiotherapy service list.
For clinics with more than one practitioner
Specialist MSK clinic focus
The strategy is built around physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and private MSK clinics, not every possible business category.
Patient journey thinking
We look at how patients move from search to service page, from service page to enquiry, and from discharge to ongoing rehab.
SEO-first website structure
Pages are planned around search demand, specialism relevance, patient questions and conversion intent.
Recommendations you can act on
You get a few priorities in order, not a catalogue of everything that could theoretically be improved.
Proof
Proof from real private clinic growth work
Clinic Evo's approach is shaped by real work with private MSK clinics. Bodyfunction Clinic in Angel went from 8 organic visitors a month to 3,822 over two years, and from no top-three rankings at all to 332 of them.
The Bodyfunction Clinic case study sets out every figure, where it came from, and the local rankings that are still being worked on.
Bodyfunction is our own clinic. Danny Morgan founded it and co-founded Clinic Evo, so this is the practice the method was built and tested in before we offered it to anyone else.

How it works
A clear path to more patients
We keep the process simple and jargon-free so you can focus on running your clinic.
Not ready to start? See how it worked for a real clinic first.
- 1
Free clinic audit
We go through your website, Google Business Profile, local rankings and any existing ad account, then come back with what is already working and where the biggest gains are.
Back to you within two business days.
- 2
What we would do first
Which channels are worth your budget, which pages need writing or rewriting, and what to fix before you spend anything on ads.
No obligation to go further.
- 3
Campaign launch
We build the SEO foundations, the Google Ads campaigns or the website, depending on what the plan called for. Ads can produce enquiries in the first few weeks. SEO is slower: expect a quarter before rankings move.
Conversion tracking goes in before anything goes live, so the numbers mean something later.
- 4
Ongoing management & reporting
A monthly report in plain English: what moved, what did not, and what we changed because of it.
Every figure traces back to Search Console or your ad account, so you can check it yourself.
FAQ
Questions from physiotherapy clinic owners
Most people who go private have already tried the NHS route and hit a waiting list, so the searches worth owning are the ones carrying that intent: 'private physio [town]', 'physio near me', condition terms with 'private' attached. Your service pages then have to answer what those patients check first: how soon you can see them, what it costs, and whether you treat their condition. That is the first thing we look at in an audit.
Broad local terms like 'physiotherapist near me' and 'private physio [city]', plus condition-specific queries like 'sports injury physio' and 'post-operative rehabilitation'. The condition terms get searched less often but convert better, because someone typing their diagnosis has already decided they need treatment. Which ones we chase depends on what you actually treat.
Yes, and it works better kept separate from your general physio pages. Someone searching 'sports injury physio' wants to know you treat their sport and how quickly they will be back training, which a general rehab overview does not answer. In practice that means its own service page, its own ad group and its own keyword set.
The ones that compound rather than the ones that spike. A service page for each treatment you want to be found for, a Google Business Profile kept current with real reviews, a fast reply to every enquiry, and a system for contacting past patients are worth more over a year than any single campaign. Ideas that depend on posting constantly tend to stop working the week you get busy.
Start from the diary rather than the channel. Work out how many new patients you need, where the current ones actually come from, and which step is losing people: visibility, the website, the enquiry response, or follow-up. Only then decide which channels to use. A strategy that starts with 'we should do more social' usually fixes the step that was not broken.
It depends on how many new patients you need and what one is worth to you over a full course of treatment, not on a percentage rule borrowed from another industry. Work backwards from the cost of acquiring a patient and the lifetime value of that patient, and the budget question usually answers itself. We cover the method in our guide on how much a clinic should spend on marketing.
Ad spend varies by location and competition. In London, expect £800–£1,500/month before the numbers settle enough to plan around. Outside major cities, £400–£800/month is often sufficient. We put projections for your area in the free audit.
We’ll explain the recommended package, pricing and commitment clearly before you agree to anything. The right setup depends on what your clinic needs and what we’re taking responsibility for.
